Conley Robinson – Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals
Conley’s bluegrass roots run deep beginning with his childhood home, the hills of middle Tennessee. He grew up listening to his Dad play the songs of Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, Bill Monroe, and The Louvin Brothers. In his early teens he joined his Dad and his brothers playing guitar along with them. The Navy brought him to San Diego in the mid 70’s. He found local bluegrass music with the San Diego Bluegrass Society in the early 80’s and has enjoyed it ever since. Conley joined the Shirthouse Band in 2011. He plays guitar and mandolin and sings lead and harmony.
